Don Tum Zoo & Resort

Overview

N/a

Don Tum Zoo and Resort is located in the Don Tum province in the area surrounding Nakhom Pathom. This facility has a Facebook page showing the water park and a number of tigers which it appears are there for visitors to interact with. These tigers appear to be young and outside in small enclosures where visitors can join them.

Larger tigers appear confined to smaller, concrete-floored cages, which are generally considered to be the standard cage design in Thailand (Screenshots of the Facebook page are shown on this page).

In July 2019 our researches visited the facility only to find that it was not open to the public. Staff at the gate were very aggressive. The facility appeared rundown and lines of tiger cages could be viewed alongside the road (photos in the gallery below). It is unclear, but there appears to be large scale tiger breeding in operation.
